Listening to parents, caregivers, and family members—both in my office and in their homes—has shaped the way I practice. Many families I meet are balancing the 24/7 demands of caring for a loved one with autism, developmental disabilities, or mental health needs, while also trying to protect their own well-being. I understand how overwhelming this can feel, and I strive to provide the validation, tools, and support that help families feel less alone and more empowered.
My greatest strengths include meeting clients where they are emotionally and creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for healing and growth. I bring a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, client-centered, and strengths-based approach, which means I focus on understanding your unique story, honoring your background, and building on your existing strengths.
With over 25 years of experience, I combine compassion with practical strategies from cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapy to help clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, autism, learning disabilities, family conflict, adoption, parenting, and life transitions. My goal is always to partner with clients and families in ways that foster resilience, create meaningful change, and move forward with confidence.
If you’re looking for support that provides an opportunity to reduce stress, strengthen your coping skills, and make personal or family-wide changes, I offer a free twenty-minute consultation so you can decide if I’m the right therapist for you.
