Listening to parents, caregivers,  and family members in my office, and in their homes,  who have asked for support to better manage stress while trying to maintain their own well-being, has changed my focus to better serve the needs of these families as a whole in my practice.  I believe that,  at times the 24/7 care that is provided by family members can be taken for granted.  The challenges and struggles that are part of the day-to-day routine can begin to feel like more than a full-time job and a way of life that can, at times,  be overwhelming.

If you are a parent, caregiver,  or family member of an individual diagnosed with autism and/or other developmental disabilities and are looking for support from a person with direct experience,  let me help.

As a licensed social worker, I have vast experience working with individuals and families dealing with stress, depression and/or anxiety.  I utilize a person- and family-centered approach to therapy  by engaging, empowering, and partnering with clients throughout the decision- and goal-making processes.

If you are looking for support that provides an opportunity to make personal behavioral changes,  I would like to offer you a free twenty minute telephone consultation so that you can decide if I am the right therapist for you.  Let’s discuss how solution-focused therapy can help you reach your goals.
